Watch Your Profits Grow
Becoming an IBEW 10th District signatory contractor can help your business grow by providing access to a highly trained and skilled electrical workforce. You will also have access to training and development opportunities for your existing workforce.
Additionally, you will gain membership to a local chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), which offers benefits such as conference invitations, workshop opportunities, marketing opportunities and other incentives. This can help increase your market share and competitiveness in the industry.
IBEW 10th District has a large network of contractors, who operate within our jurisdiction. Our signatory contractors employ the region’s top electricians and electrical workers. For any project, no matter the size or scope, contact at least one of the signatory contractors to bid on your job.

IBEW 10th District
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is a labor union that represents electrical workers in the United States and Canada. The 10th District encompasses multiple states, including Arkansas, Tennessee, and North and South Carolina. If you need more information about the jurisdictions within the 10th District, you can contact us.
NECA
NECA serves as a voice for electrical contractors on a national level and works to promote the interests of its members. They provide educational resources, and technical expertise, and help electrical contractors stay up-to-date. Additionally, NECA provides its members with access to insurance, bonding, and other business services, which can help contractors reduce their operating costs and risk.
IBEW COE
The IBEW Code of Excellence is a set of principles and standards that are designed to promote professionalism, ethics, and productivity in the electrical industry. By adhering to the COE, IBEW members can maintain high standards of professionalism and quality and their commitment to the industry. Those core values are known as SPARQ:
Partner Contractors
Partnering with the 10th District offers numerous advantages, including access to a skilled workforce, and expanded access to local union wage rates and CBAs. In addition, these partnerships foster a collaborative environment that benefits both contractors and union members, ultimately leading to successful project outcomes for the electrical industry. IBEW gives you qualified highly trained Electrical Workers.
District Wide Agreements
In 2019, locals in the Tenth District changed the way business is done in the IBEW, with the launch of the Tenth District Recovery Agreement (TDRA) and the Tenth District Prefab Agreement (TDPA). These agreements create a competitive edge for our partners when bidding against the non‐union sector to secure new work.
Training
The electrical training ALLIANCE (ETA) was created over 70 years ago as a joint training program between NECA and IBEW aimed at training the best electrical workers the industry has to offer. Today, the electrical training ALLIANCE has evolved into the largest apprenticeship and training program of its kind, having trained over 350,000 apprentices to journeyman status through local affiliate programs.
